Ulf  Tischbirek

wurde 1955 in Düsseldorf geboren und absolvierte sein Violoncellostudium an der Hochschule für Musik in Hannover bei Prof. Klaus Storck sowie bei Prof. Radu Aldulescu (Nizza/Rom). Er war Stipendiat der "Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes", der 25. Bundesauswahl "Konzerte Junger Künstler« und Preisträger zahlreicher  Wettbewerbe.  Nach einem mehrjährigen Engagement als 1. Solocellist am Staatstheater Braunschweig lehrt er seit 1986 als Professor für Violoncello und Kammermusik an der Musikhochschule Lübeck.Konzerte sowie Rundfunk- und Fernsehaufnahmen führten ihn als Solisten und Kammermusiker durch die  ganze  Welt.  .  Als Lehrer von internationalen Meisterkursen sowie als Juror von Wettbewerben ist Prof. Ulf Tischbirek ebenso gefragt.

Ulf  Tischbirek    was born in 1955 in Düsseldorf / Germany and attended his cello study at the University of Music (Musikhochschule) in Hannover where he graduated with Prof. Klaus Storck. This was followed by a postgraduated study with Prof. Radu Aldulescu  (Nizza / Rom).   After a number of years of playing as 1st cello soloist at the State Theatre Braunschweig he is now, since 1986,   professor for cello and chamber music at the university of music in Lübeck. He was a prize winner at numerous musical   competitions.    His concerts and various radio and television recordings as a soloist and performer of chamber music have led him throughout the world.                             Prof. Ulf Tischbirek is being continuingly highly demanded as a teacher at international master classes as well as a member of the juries at musical competitions.
